Getting Ready for the Winter Season

My November Classes focus on the Winter season the first class is called Winter Wonderland and focuses on snowflake cards.  The second class is called Frosty the Snowman and you guessed it, it focuses on Snowmen.  

The Winter Wonderland Class will be held on Saturday November 19 and Monday November 21 from  1 pm to 4 pm. The class will cost $10 or will be FREE with a $60 order (before shipping and taxes).  Please register ASAP as this class is filling up quickly!  Please e-mail me for location details. Frosty the Snowman Class will be held on Saturday November 26 and Monday November 28.  The class will go from 1 pm to 4 pm and will cost $10 or will be FREE with a $60 order (before taxes and shipping).  This class is filling up quickly so please register ASAP! Please e-mail me for location details. Party Time in September and October!!!

We started the party off in September with the Blow Out The Candles Card Class on Saturday September 10th and Monday September 12.  We had a wonderful time making the three cards posted below.  The ladies loved that we used the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (on page 172 in the June 1 2016 to May 31 2017 Catalogue) and almost everyone bought a pack.  

    

In our town of Kitchener Ontario, October  is always a party month since we celebrate Oktoberfest!! October first is also World Card Making Day so we celebrated by participating in a Kit Class.   We used the Oh Happy Day Card Kit and the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit (on page 6, 7, 8, 9 of the June 1 2016 to the May 31 2017 Stampin' Up! Catalogue.)    

  

     

We also celebrated in October by participating in a Stamp-A-Stack.  People love the opportunity to get their Christmas cards finished in one class.   The class was held on Saturday October 15th and we made three cards each of the four designs posted below.  The ladies did very well as they had to get 12 cards finished in four hours, they were in a bit of a rush but they did a beautiful job on their cards.   

Thank you to all the ladies who filled up my September and October classes! I can not wait to create with you all again in November.

Cancellation Policy

I am now starting a cancellation policy for my Classes. The cancellation policy will help me with the loss of supplies when class attendees are unable to come.  I will need at least four days notice of cancellation so that would mean Wednesday for the Saturday Class and Friday for the Monday Class.  This will allow me time to try to get someone to replace the spot.  If I do not get four days notice you will have to pay the $10 class fee.  Sorry for any inconvenience but I am losing many customers, supplies, and prep time when class attendees do not show up. Thank you for reviewing this policy and I hope to see you at my next card class.

August is Super Exciting!

July has flown by and August is around the corner.  I am super excited to invite everyone to the Beautiful Wings Card Class on Saturday August 13 and Monday August 15th from 1 pm to 4 pm.  I have had preregistration for these classes and the Monday class is already full! This does not mean that people will not cancel, so if you would like to be contacted if anyone cancels let me know.   We will be making these three cards.....

The class will cost $10, or the class will be free with a $50 order from the Catalogue (before taxes and shipping).  Please contact me for address information.

New Catalogue Means Fun New Cards!!!!

June has been a huge month of change for me any many of my friends, co-workers and family.  First I had to say goodbye to my friend Nicole who moved back to her home town in Newfoundland, There are many icebergs in Newfoundland in June that is why I made her his  appropriate card.  I hope she continues her wonderful creativity with her new Stampin' Up! products.   

In June I also went to an engagement party for my co-worker April and made her this Congratulations card made from on of my favorite retired stamp sets. 

Last but not least I made a card for one of my co-workers Sarah who I miss so much.  I used a new In-Color Flirty Flamingo on her card and a new textured Impression Embossing Folder called Floral Affection.     


The new Find Your Inspiration Catalogue running from June 1st 2016 to May 31 2016 has totally inspired me to use new products from Stampin' Up!.  My Buzzing Bumble Bee Card Class that will take place on July 16 and July 18 2016 uses many new products.  

For the first card I decided to use the new Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack (page 174) and the Touches of Texture Stamp set (page 141). 

The second card for this class I decided to use the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set (page 146) and the new Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 172).   This paper is great to use with Stamping Sponges, Sponge Dauber and Sponge Brayer  (page 180).
   

The third card for this class I used Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 172), the Shooing Star Stamp Set and the Sliding Star Framelits Dies (page 91).   This set is so much fun with all the movement!  

There are great benefits for those who host a Stampin' Up! party including the host-only items on page 198 to 201 of the Catalogue. I used the Hostess set called Love You Lots to display the new In-Colors (page 199 and 168).  I also used the new 3/8" Ruched ribbon in the new In-Colors (page 178). Here they come....

Cherry Park 2016

Hello all my friends,

I am super excited to invite you all to the Cherry Festival at Cherry Park on Saturday July 9th from 11 am to 6 pm.  I will be there with my Stampin' Up! booth with 71 other vendors selling all kinds of unique items.  The afternoon will be filled with live music, children activities (including the Cherry train and Pony Rides), other activities such as mini golf and Game Asylum, and many delicious foods including cherry pies, tarts, jam, pop and ice cream. Huge Stampin' Up! Retired Items Sale

I am super excited  to invite you all to the Catalogue Release Party and Sale on Saturday June 4th from 1 pm to 4 pm.  This year many of the stamp sets, paper, framelits, punches, ribbon and buttons have been retired so I have a lot more  items for sale then I have ever had before, and most of the items are at half price.  Remember this is a free drop in event I will be serving snacks and drinks and everyone will get a free Catalogue with a little treat inside their bag.  I will also set up a table with many new products and card samples to look at.  You can also make orders out of the new Catalogue at this event.  The Sale items are cash or cheque only and orders from the new catalogue can be paid by cash, VISA, Master Card or cheque.  There are some great prizes at this event and you will receive prize tickets for bringing a new friend, signing up for a class, ordering from the catalogue or purchasing items from the sale table.  The prize tickets will be drawn on Monday June 6th and I will contact everyone who wins.  

For those who are unable to make it on Saturday June 4th I will be holding an alternative date on Monday June 6th from 6 pm to 9 pm.    Please let me know if you are able to come to either date so I have enough catalogues for everyone.  Please contact me for location details.

In The Garden Card Class

Hello all my creative friends,

Please join us at the In The Garden Card Class on Saturday June 11th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Discovering Nature Card Class

We have so many lovely animal stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! Catalogues and they inspired me to create a card class based on nature.  On Saturday February 6th and Monday February 8th I will be teaching the Discovering Nature Card Class.  We will be making the three nature inspired cards shown below.  The classes will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm, and will cost $10 and will include light refreshments.  Please contact me to register and for further address information at lissarose79@hotmail.com.
